Marion Cotillard for Vogue
Hello! Take a look to this photo shoot by photographer Peter Lindbergh of Marion Cotillard for August 2012 Vogue USA issue.
Since she’s one of my favorite actresses I decided to tell you a little bit more about her:
Marion Cotillard is a French actress born in wonderful Paris; her father was a mime and her mother an actress (I guess talent is in her genes).
She studied in the Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique in Orléans.
When she was 17 years old she had her first role in the TV series Highlander; The she appeared in Tax (French comedy), then in 2003 she appeared in Love Me if You Fare (after this role she was about to quit acting to become an environmental activist in Greenpeace), then her manager arranged a meeting with Tim Burton for Big Fish movie.
In 2004 she wins the César award (kind of an Oscar in France) for Best supporting actress; in 2006 she appeared in movie Good year with Russell Crowe. Finally in 2007 she becomes a well known international actress thanks to her role in La Vie en Rose which gave her a lot of fame.
In 2008 wins Golden Globe for best actress; later on she also wins the Oscar for best actress for a foreign-language film.
In 2009 she starred the The Lady Noire Affair (also with Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman and Kate Hudson) which was a minithriller for Dior that focuses on the Lady Dior handbag. “Marion has brought the Dior woman to life,” says the house’s designer, John Galliano. “She is incredible.”
In 2010 she appeared in Inception with Leo DiCaprio. In 2011 appeared in Midnight in Paris. And finally in this year she appear in recent film The Dark Knight Rises, Little White Lies and Rust & Bone
